Scheduled
The IBM Power for Google Cloud operations team will perform essential maintenance on the network fabric.
During the maintenance window you may notice brief moments of increased latency as traffic is diverted through redundant connectivity during the upgrade.
If during the maintenance a network gateway address becomes unreachable, please clear the ARP entry associated with the gateway using one of the methods below:
AIX Operating Systems:
arp [ -t ifType ] -d
IBMi Operating Systems:
Using IBM Navigator for i: Navigate to "Network" -> "TCP/IP Configuration" -> "Interfaces." Select the relevant interface (ELAN or VETH). Access the "ARP Cache." From there, you can view and delete dynamic ARP entries.
Linux Operating Systems:
Using ARP: arp -d
Contact support if you continue to have issues after clearing the ARP entry associated with your VMs network gateway.
