The IBM Power for Google Cloud operations team will perform essential maintenance on the Block Storage service.

During the maintenance window storage Volumes will remain operational but will be partially disconnected from backend storage. Customers will see 2 of 4 storage paths intermittently down during the maintenance. This will have no impact on the availability of Block Storage.

While we do not expect any downtime, a brief period of increased storage latency or decreased throughput may occur.

Required Action:
Before maintenance: Customers should confirm all 4 storage paths are active at the OS level.
Review and apply MPIO best practices https://docs.converge.cloud/docs/how-to/aix/aix-mpio/

After maintenance: Customers should verify all storage paths are enabled and online in the OS.

AIX Operating Systems: If lspath | grep -v Enabled returns any disabled paths, run cfgmgr and re-check. Contact support if lspath continues to return paths that are disabled, missing, or failed.
